Contacting DMU Commons Support

You can contact DMU Commons support. As follows:

1. Support contact procedure for DMU Staff

If you have a query about the DMU Commons please contact your Faculty ELT Project Officer via the normal channels.

Please note: Graduate School Staff should contact Julia Reeve (CELT) with their DMU Commons queries.

Queries will be responded to as soon as possible and only between the hours of 9am-4pm Monday through Friday, this excludes Bank Holidays and other statutory/concessionary holidays.

If your query is urgentdefined as where there is a significant disruption to the functionality of your DMU Commons space – you should contact the ITMS Helpdesk either by telephone (0116 250 6050) or email (itmsservicedesk@dmu.ac.uk) with the words DMU Commons as the Subject. It is not possible to resolve any issues during weekends or outside of normal working hours.

2. Support contact procedure for DMU Students

A) If you are using your DMU Commons blog/site as part of a DMU module then please contact your module leader with any DMU Commons queries.

B) Other queries should be emailed to (itmsservicedesk@dmu.ac.uk) with the words DMU Commons as the Subject.

3. Support contact procedure for non-DMU users (guests)

If you are a guest user of the DMU Commons, and are having difficulties with your commons site:

A. Check to see if your problem can be resolved by consulting the Help tab on the DMU Commons Home Page

B. Search for information about your specific problem in:
WordPress Support pages – http://codex.wordpress.org/
WordPress support forum – http://wordpress.org/support/

If you have not resolved your problem via these means, then you should contact the person at DMU (member of staff) who facilitated your guest access to the DMU Commons.
