Adding document files

Step 1 – Uploading a document file (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PDF)

From the dashboard of your site hover your cursor over the Media menu item and select Add New from the dropdown menu


Drag and drop the document file from you computer desktop into the Drop files here area


An icon will appear below the drop files area when the file has been successfully uploaded


Step 2 – Creating a link to the document file in a page

On the page where you want to add the link to the document file click the Add Media button


Select the document file in the media library


On the lower right of the page, check that the Attachment Display Setting is set to Media File, and click the Insert into Page button


A link to the document file will be added to the page. Once the page is published, clicking on the link will open the document file on the users computer.
